The MGM cyberattack that began on Sunday, September 10, may be costing the casino giant millions of dollars a day. The cyberattack continues to linger on as MGM is doing everything they can to end it. MGM’s casino resort websites were restored last week, online room reservations remain on hold. Guests are having to wait in long lines when checking in. Self service gaming cashier kiosks are not working so a floor attendant must manually pay out the winnings at each machine. This cyberattack could be costing around $8.4 million a day in lost revenue.
It was a tough week in the NFL once again when it comes to injuries. Two running backs, Saquon Barkley and Nick Chubb, both suffered injuries this past weekend. Chubb, the Cleveland Browns running back got the worst of it. He suffered a season ending knee injury. Barkley, the New York Giants running back stands to miss multiple weeks with an ankle sprain. Ironically the Giants erased a 21 point deficit against the Arizona Cardinals in the game Barkley got hurt. Cleveland were not as fortunate as they lost on Monday night football to the Pittsburgh Steelers 26-22.
